ARTIST HISTORY
28-200 is a versatile camera lens with wide range, but more importantly; it's a musical entity from Denver. Their alliance began in the visual realm. As fine art photographers, for years Mister L and Aimee found their artwork hanging side-by-side in gallery exhibitions. A conversation at an opening revealed that their common interests extended into the sonic realm. 28-200 seemed like an obvious moniker for their tonal collaboration.
The two are inspired by a myriad of musical genres, from surf to goth. They combine dark guitar melodies with sweltering vocals to create a unique sound that is hard to classify. 28-200's music is intellectual and artistic, yet approachable and infectious.
