ARTIST HISTORY
Lucas was born in the small town of Hubbell, Nebraska, population 50. The entire Hoge family loves to sing and at a young age Lucas found his calling.
In college Lucas joined a praise and worship band called Xtreme Devotion and soon Lucas was playing and singing for a variety of different bands. He moved more into mainstream, but never leaving his Christian roots behind, with a country-rock band called Southern Cross that played festivals and fairs across Nebraska and Kansas and opened for John Michael Montgomery at Harrah’s Casino. Lucas soon recruited his own band Borderline performing a variety of country, country-rock and gospel music to sold-on-him crowds.
